Biography:

Grava is the VP & GM of Pure Storage for Latin America & the Caribbean.

Previously, he was responsible for Sales, Pre-Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Channel for Latin America & the Caribbean at NetApp, a Fortune 500 company.

Prior to joining NetApp in May/2011, Grava was the Vice-President for Latin America & the Caribbean at Symantec, a leader in providing security and systems management solutions, where he was responsible for leading Sales, Pre-Sales and the Channel organization for 7 years. He joined Symantec after the company's acquisition of VERITAS, where he was the Senior Director for Latin America.

Previously, Grava was responsible for Network Associates' (now McAfee) operations in Latin America during 3 years.

His international career began at Computer Associates (now CA Technologies), where in a 12 years span he moved from post-Sales and pre-Sales technical positions in Brazil to Marketing (having co-founded CA's Marketing department in the country), then to Acquisitions, Education and International Channel management. Grava left Brazil in 1996 when he was invited to start-up the company's subsidiary in Venezuela. In 1999 he moved to Mexico to lead the country and then Hispanic Latin America for CA.

In addition to his extensive 30+ years of experience with Brazil and Hispanic Latin America business development efforts in Storage, Security, Virtualization and Systems Management, Grava holds an Executive Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Data Processing Technology from the Universidade Mackenzie, both in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Grava lives in the USA since 2001.
